Insulated Containers

Image

Insulated containers, also known as thermal containers, are specialized shipping containers designed to maintain a stable internal temperature, protecting temperature-sensitive cargo from extreme external temperatures.

These containers feature insulated walls, roof, and floor, which help to minimize temperature fluctuations and provide an optimal environment for the cargo.

Constructed with high-quality insulating materials, these containers do not have an active cooling system like reefers but rely on their insulation properties to keep the internal temperature within a desired range.

This makes them ideal for transporting goods that require protection from heat or cold but do not need refrigeration.

Additional Information: Insulated containers are often used in combination with cooling or heating packs to extend the duration of temperature control, making them suitable for long-distance shipping without an active refrigeration system.

Cargo Compatibility

Insulated containers are ideal for transporting a variety of temperature-sensitive cargo, ensuring the contents remain within a stable temperature range. Here are some examples of suitable cargo:

  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Chemicals
  • Biologic materials
